Welcome! It is our honor and privilege to serve you and your child
in our Children's Ministry. We are committed to partnering with
you in guiding your child on the path to becoming a fully
devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to provide a
Christ-centered, interactive, fun, and safe environment in which your
child will learn and build lasting relationships.
Our teachers are carefully screened before they can serve in Children's Ministries. They have been trained so that they can meet the needs of your child. We invite you to come and join us.
Children Worship is Sunday Worship for 1st
to 5th graders. Children are encouraged to be part of the worship by serving as
pianists, ushers, song leaders, and help setup and cleanup. We meet Sundays at 11:11 am.
We have an wonderful Sunday School program for children.
Our Sunshine Class is for our 2 and 3 year olds and our Rainbow Class is for our 4 year olds to kindergarteners. Our preschool classes experience God's world and His Word through stories, music, games, and crafts. They have a playtime and a snack time. Classes are offered Sundays during the 11:11 am Worship Service and the 9:30 am Life Bible Classes.
1st - 8th grade children have Sunday School at 9:30am, where age-appropriate lessons are provided to captivate their attention and learn to apply God's Word in their lives. A team of devoted teachers leads all classes.
Awana is an international Bible-centered organization that provides clubs &
programs for 3-year-olds to 6th grade students. The acronym ‘AWANA’ is
derived from the first letters of the phrase "Approved workmen are not ashamed"
(2 Timothy 2:15). Clubbers build a solid foundation for their faith through activities such
as singing, Bible story time, games, arts & craft, etc.
Our Awana Club meets at the Fellowship Hall on Friday nights from 7:45pm to 9:30pm starting the 2nd week of September and ending the first week of June. For more information on Awana at CBCSJ, click here.
We are committed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your
infant and toddler. Experienced and loving caregivers are available for
babies up to 24 months old on Friday nights from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm
and Sundays during the 11:11 am Worship Service and the 9:30 am Life Bible
Classes.
Sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship, Good News Club meets once a week after school for singing, games, and fun ways to learn valuable lessons about good living from the Bible. Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
